This national leader in industrial steel supply needed to clean structural shapes, steel plates and fabrications on a pass through basis. MetFin offered a custom solution to clean steel parts up to 60’ long, 72” high and 36” wide in a single pass to a near white finish. The MetFin Series IV, Model 4863-12 Production Descaler with twelve blast wheels arranged to blast all of the customer’s various sized and shaped components increased daily production and decreased cost per piece immediately. The ease of maintenance further reduced costs by providing extended run time throughout the year.
