Stout served as the exclusive financial advisor to The Systems Group Inc. on the sale of its Systems Spray-Cooled LLC division to a Little Rock, Arkansas-based family office. Lee Morgan, the owner of Systems, is retaining a minority ownership in the go-forward business. Spray-Cooled will remain under The Systems Group umbrella, ensuring alignment from a management and market perspective.
Spray-Cooled provides safer, sustainable alternatives for extreme heat load applications in the steelmaking, foundry, and mining sectors, offering the only non-pressurized, non-evaporative water-cooled furnace equipment in the industry. The parent company, Systems, has three other main divisions, including Systems Plant Services, Inc.; Systems Fab & Machine, Inc.; and Systems Contracting, Inc.
The Little Rock, Arkansas-based family office is led by David Brogdon, who serves as the Founder and President of Bad Boy Mowers, which is the fastest-growing zero turn lawn mower company globally. David Brogdon is also the owner of Platinum Metal Works, a metal fabricator for lawn mowers, agricultural equipment, specialty vehicles, medical transport vehicles, and more.
