California Steel Industries (Fontana, CA) has placed a new thickness gauge order with Advanced Gauging Technologies L.L.C. (Plain City, OH). CSI purchased two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges to place on their #3 Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) in their plant. These thickness gauges will be used to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of 0.010 to 0.250”. Delivery to CSI is scheduled for August of 2026, with the startup date scheduled for late September.
